“My husband and I had all but given up on finding the perfect outdoor wedding location, when we stumbled upon Tuckahoe Plantation. After walking the various wedding and reception sites of Tuckahoe, I was left wondering how I had never heard of it before… not only was it perfect for our wedding, but beautiful to visit on any given day! Todd and I fell in love with the rural feel of Tuckahoe, and were sold on the plantation as both our wedding and reception location – we found it to be very convenient for both the wedding party and our guests. Our wedding happened to fall on the Saturday which ended Garden Week… so not only were the grounds in pristine condition, but the various rooms of the house (where my bridesmaids and I made final preparations) were adorned in fresh flowers from Tuckahoe’s gardens. The staff and residents of Tuckahoe were a pleasure to work with, and we appreciated their flexibility given the fact hat this is a preserved historic location. Now expecting our first son in a few months, we look forward to sharing the beauty and experience of Tuckahoe Plantation with him.”
