Robert Harding (Indentured Servant)

Robert was a white indentured servant who served William Randolph at Tuckahoe.  Shortly before Randolph’s death in 1745, he added a segment to his will stating that £50 be left to his “faithful man” Robert.  Though it would have been relatively common to have indentured servants in the colonial period, this is one of the few times that we see one explicitly named in any records connected to Tuckahoe.
