Abner Anderson

Abner was an enslaved worker at Tuckahoe during the Allen period.  He is thought to have been born around 1846 and was one of the children of Tom and Amy Anderson.  His siblings were Maria, Philip, Cornelius, and Willis.  Unfortunately, he never knew his brother, Willis as Abner died before he was born on February 1, 1859 (Willis being born later that year in June).  The cause of death was not recorded in the Allen record.  Abner would have been about 13 years old.
